You?
You have a minimum of 5-7 years supply management related experience within the hospitality or related industry. You are detail oriented & take pride in a job well done. You enjoy the challenge of managing multiple projects & deadlines and aren’t thrown off by ad hoc requests or last-minute changes due to your amazing time management skills.
You are a great communicator – both written and verbal. You are solution oriented, with problem solving capabilities and a desire for continuous improvement. You thrive in a team environment, supporting both the field and other departments.
About the Role
You’ll be the “go- to” person for restaurant management inquiries; primary contact for White Spot, assisting Triple O’s as needed. Setting up new items, maintaining product yield, pricing and ordering codes in the HUB (our proprietary inventory system) is a key part of the job.
You’ll be a tracking guru – keeping a close watch on special items brought in by our distributors for promotions, ensuring the restaurants aren’t told “we are out of that”, and generally keeping a high level eye on one of the biggest costs to our business – food! You’ll be working with the rest of the Supply Management Team to resolve various issues, assist on projects, and ensure the right supplies get to the right spot at the right time.
Working with the Director, Supply Management, you’ll solicit quotes and negotiate product, price, packaging and payment for products required for both our core and our promotional menus. You will forecast inventory for promotions and limited time offers based on past sales, feedback from testing and keeping your finger on the pulse of consumer trends.
You will own your respective categories, conducting vendor business reviews, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and reviewing competitive options and new initiatives with the Culinary and Operations teams.
This is a hybrid in-office position with the ability to work from home 1-2 days a week after an initial training period which will require more in-office presence.
