About Our Food

Our commitment to great quality food is just one of the reasons we’re named one of BC’s Most Loved Brands and the longest-running restaurant chain in Canada. We’ve always gone to great lengths to source fresh, quality, local ingredients where you can taste the difference in every bite.

We Love Local

At White Spot, we go to great lengths to support local farmers, growers and partners. It’s why, on our menu, you can find lots of Canadian ingredients, including fresh Canadian beef, BC chicken, fries made from BC-grown Kennebec potatoes, local BC dairy for our famous milkshakes, BC wine, and so much more.

100% Canadian Beef

Our beef burgers helped make us a breakout BC brand, and for good reason. They’re made with 100% fresh, never-frozen Canadian beef. Once you try one, you get it.

BC Chicken

We take great pride in the fact that our chicken comes from right here in BC. It’s locally sourced from farmers who take great care in what they do, just like us.

Locally-Baked Buns

Everyone knows that a good bun is essential for a great burger. That’s why ours are artisan-style and locally baked, made with real ingredients, including eggs, butter, milk and locally milled wheat.

BC Dairy

BC dairy is known for its exceptional quality and high standards, which make it a great fit for our guests who crave a delicious hand-scooped milkshake. We’re proud to support the local BC dairy producers and processors who help bring it to you.

Vine-Ripened BC Tomatoes

There’s nothing quite like fresh tomatoes, made plump, juicy and sweet. We source some of the best greenhouse-grown beefsteak tomatoes, vine-ripened for freshness and flavour, to take our burgers to another level.

Local BC Wine

From grapes grown right here in BC, one of the best growing regions in the world, to the generations of families who make farming grapes their life’s work, our wine menu offers you great taste and quality in every glass.

Our Potato Partner

The secret behind our tasty fries goes way back to 1935, when Nat Bailey formed a partnership with Felix Guichon of Felix Farms, in Delta, BC, to source potatoes for what would become our signature Kennebec fries. The delicious partnership continues this day with the Guichon family.

Our Food Partners

We're proud to partner closely with organizations that celebrate the best of BC and Canadian farmers and growers, to help us create a menu full of food and drinks deeply rooted in our local communities.

Proud to be Ocean Wise

We’re believers of sustainable seafood and protecting our local waters, which is why we’ve been a partner with Ocean Wise since 2017. Our menu features many delicious Ocean Wise dishes — all you have to do is look for the logo.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Food

Questions about White Spot’s food sourcing, ingredients and menu? Look no further.

  1. Do you prioritize local and fresh ingredients?

Yes, whenever possible, we source local ingredients. We recognize that this isn’t always feasible year-round, so we partner closely with our growers and suppliers to maintain consistent quality, safety and taste across our menu.

  2. How do you maintain high-quality food consistency of your products?

We continuously explore new products and work closely with our suppliers to maintain high-quality food consistency, despite environmental challenges. Our requirement and our commitment to you is to deliver ingredients that meet exceptionally high quality and safety standards every time.

  3. Is your steelhead sustainably sourced?

Yes, our steelhead meets high environmental and quality standards. It’s Ocean Wise recommended and certified under the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) program, which ensures responsible practices across the entire production process.

  4. What kind of tomatoes do you use?

We use greenhouse-grown beefsteak tomatoes, vine-ripened for freshness and flavour, which we introduced in 2024, replacing Amoroso tomatoes. We made this change to improve the burger experience: using one larger slice instead of two smaller ones means easier layering of ingredients and helps prevent shifting while you eat.
