Ever since we opened our doors in 1928, giving back to our local communities has been very important to us. That’s why we’ve continued the tradition of supporting many children’s charities and community groups that are close to our hearts and homes.
Variety — The Children’s Charity of BC
White Spot has been an active supporter of Variety since they started back in 1966, including Variety’s Got Talent event and Variety’s Show of Hearts Telethon – a much-needed fundraiser to help kids across BC. In addition to monetary donations, many White Spot employees donate their time each year to serve burgers to volunteers at the telethon, contributing to its continued success.
BC Ferries
White Spot and BC Ferries share a long-standing partnership that brings great food and a classic BC dining experience to coastal travellers. With onboard service at the Coastal Café, passengers can find a selection of White Spot menu favourites, including burgers, pastas, hearty mains, and Pirate Paks (for kids 10 and under), making White Spot a tasty part of your journey.
Zajac Ranch
White Spot has raised more than $1 million for Zajac Ranch for Children, a BC-based charity that provides unforgettable summer camp experiences for kids and young adults with illnesses and disabilities. On our annual, highly anticipated Pirate Pak Day, kids and adults alike can order the iconic ship-shaped meal, and $2 from the sale of every Pirate Pak goes to this great cause.
Vancouver Giants
White Spot and the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League have a longstanding partnership in supporting local charities. Whether it’s our joint $100,000 donation to The Province’s Empty Stocking Fund, the CKNW Kids Fund or our on-ice Teddy Bear Toss, it’s all in support of children who need it most. Plus, through our Family Pak ticket and gift card offer, we can provide families with affordable access to fun local events.
Vancouver Canadians
We’re thrilled to be at Nat Bailey Stadium as the sponsor of the Vancouver Canadians’ Family Fun Sundays. Buy a White Spot Family Fun Pack score four tickets to a Canadians Sunday home game, and get a $50 White Spot gift card to celebrate after the game. It’s the ultimate family outing. BC Lions
