Celebrating 16 Consecutive Years of Recognition
VANCOUVER, B.C. (May 15, 2026) – White Spot Hospitality has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the 16th consecutive year, maintaining its Platinum Club status and marking another milestone for one of British Columbia’s most iconic restaurant companies.
For nearly 100 years, White Spot has been serving more than great burgers and fries. From family dinners and first Pirate Paks to quick lunches, road trip stops, airport departures and milestone celebrations, White Spot and Triple O’s have become a familiar part of everyday life for generations of Canadians.
Today, White Spot Hospitality continues to evolve while staying true to what made it a household name in the first place: great tasting food, warm hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages.
“This recognition speaks to the consistency of our leadership, the strength of our teams, and the culture we’ve built across the organization,” said Denise Buchanan, Vice President of People & Training. “Our people continue to be the driving force behind a business that has remained resilient, values-led and guest-focused for generations.”
Canada’s Best Managed Companies program recognizes Canadian-owned businesses for excellence in strategy, innovation, culture, governance and financial performance.
Since 1928, when founder Nat Bailey first began building White Spot’s tradition of giving back to children and families in British Columbia, the community has remained at the heart of the business. Today, nearly a century later, White Spot Hospitality continues that legacy through ongoing charitable partnerships and community investment across the province and beyond, reflecting a long-standing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, a key pillar of Canada’s Best Managed Companies criteria.
That commitment is brought to life through initiatives that connect guests, teams, and communities in meaningful ways. Pirate Pak Day in support of Zajac Ranch for Children remains a signature annual event, helping lifetime fundraising surpass $1 million to date, while this year’s efforts also included $60,000 raised in support of Variety – the Children’s Charity of BC’s 60th anniversary.
“As we look ahead to our 100th anniversary, we remain focused on disciplined growth, strong governance, and a values-driven culture across White Spot and Triple O’s. At the centre of it all is our people, enabling us to consistently serve delicious food and create experiences guests love for generations to come,” said Trent Carroll, President of White Spot Limited.
