White Spot recognized for involvement and innovation in apprenticeship program

On June 8th, White Spot was recognised for its involvement and innovation in the apprenticeship program, as the provincial governement announced that it has invested $7 million the Vancouver Community College (VCC) trades training. White Spot and VCC have developed a unique training program that allows students to train at White Spot's culinary training facility in Vancouver, and is fully accredited to deliver Cook Training 1 and 2. White Spot is proud to be the only hospitality company in the province that can offer this type of training.

  The Province has announced that it has invested, through the Industry Training Authority (ITA), $7 million in
  Vancouver Community College (VCC) for trades training through to March 31,2017, to meet industry needs
  and ensure quality training in high priority trades.
